This morning my breakfast was better than I expected. I had Kashi Hearty Go Lean Honey and Cinnamon oatmeal with a blue bran VitaTop. I had tried the oatmeal once before and hated it, but because I hate to waste I told myself that I was just going to have to make it through the rest of the box. To my surprise it was better this morning than last time I tried it. Still not great but I am working on it. I had never tried the blue bran VitaTop but knew that I would like it so I wasn't really worried. I have tried all the chocolate flavors so now I am working my way through the bran flavors. Well, that is all for now, have to head down to my parents' house for a couple of hours. (Also, sorry about the quality of the pics, I am taking them with my phone).
Apparently I am quite forgetful during the weekends. I was always halfway through my meal by the time I realized that I didn't take a picture. So, for now, I will at least try and stick to it during the week. Hopefully Monday I will remember to snap a pic before I start to munch.....lol
I am new to the whole blogging thing, but I love reading everyone else's blogs and thought it was time to create my own. I don't think that I will have anything interesting to say I am just using this as a way to keep track of what I eat each day. I try my best to eat healthy everyday. Most days it is a struggle, but I am still at it after two years now. I heard that it is helpful to keep a food journal, so this is my go at it. We'll see how long I can keep it up.I will try to post my meal (with pictures) each day. I will start tomorrow as I have eaten all my meals today and did not take the time to take photos of any it. I was really hungry today and couldn't wait to take the pics.........lol. So tomorrow it is!!
I am 25 years old. I have been married for almost 2 years now. I work full time in accounting and my husband works part time and is going to school full time. About two years ago I decided it was time to shape up and get healthy. In college, I wasn't very concerned with eating right or exercising. My motivation for this lifestyle change came about because I was getting married and was determined to look amazing in my dress. So, somehow, I managed to get healthy and in shape. It was never easy, and it still isn't easy. I didn't go on a particular diet though I did and still do follow the weight watchers plan on my own. It is really just as a means to maintain my weight and healthy lifestyle. It has worked so far. I really enjoy reading these blogs and learning what everyone else does to stay healthy. I have only been following these blogs for a month or so and already I have learned so much. I don't know how long I can keep up this healthier lifestyle but I sure hope I can do it for good. I am constantly worried that one slip up is going to turn it all around, but I am working on that.
