I just stopped posting anything all together. I am still trying to stay active and eat healthy as much as possible. Though a lot has happened in the last year or so that I would like to share a little bit of. Even if no one ever reads this it doesn't really matter, I just have some things that I need to let out.<div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>I have been dealing with infertility for some time now. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost a year. Now, a year or so later, I have been through more than I could have ever imagined. I have been through fertility treatments consisting of pills (which did absolutely nothing) and injections (which was a long but so far successful process). During the middle of December I found out that I was pregnant. I was beyond excited. I went to the doctor to confirm the results that very same day. All was well and in 2 weeks I was to go back and see him. Little did I know that within those two weeks, something happened (or maybe didn't for that matter) that caused me to lose the pregnancy. I would have been 7 weeks. Of course, I was devastated. I felt like I had come so far and been through so much all for nothing. But, I moved on and had to be hopeful that it would happen again.</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>So I went back to the whole process of injections, ovulation, and waiting two long weeks to see if I could be pregnant again. I must admit that I did not think I would be lucky enough to be pregnant again so soon. When I woke up on the morning of February 11, 2010 I couldn't wait to take the pregnancy test to see if it could be. It was! I was in slight disbelief until I went to the doctor to confirm it with a blood test. At this point, I will try and skip to the end so that this won't go on forever. As of now I am pregnant with quads. That's right quads! How scary and amazing is that. While it is too early to see any heartbeats (I am about 5 ½ wks or so), my doctor informed me that there is a 50% chance that all 4 will develop heartbeats or that 3,2, or 1 will develop. I go back in a week and will hopefully know a little more about what I am working with...lol</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>This is the beginning of a journey that I never thought that I would be on. While I am happy to share it with others, I would just really like a way to recap all that I am feeling and all that is going on throughout this whole process. I will try and update at least each time I go to the doctor, but probably more because I am feeling so many things right now and feel this could be a good way to let them out. I may post every now and again with certain thoughts, but I think that it is way more beneficial to me to just to follow other people's blog and continue to learn new things.<br /><br />I really just wanted to let the fellow bloggers out there know that while you may be doing this (blogging) to help yourself, you are also helping out people who face the same struggles as you. I had never actually tried the vanilla flavored yogurt and was I little nervous as to whether I would like it or not. Luckily, it was just as delicious as the other flavors I have tried. I think that mixing cereal with yogurt is my new favorite thing. Somewhere.I haven't posted in quite a while. I realized that taking pics of all my meals was actually causing me to become more consumed with eating healthy and planning meals than I was before. I do understand how this helps people though. I am just already ridiculously obsessed with what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat as it is. It is all I think about. At night, while I am in bed trying to fall asleep, I am actually planning out meals and coming up with new meal ideas. I don't enjoy going eat out because I am not sure of the nutritional info for the food I am eating. I don't know why I have become so consumed by all of this. I just feel like I have worked so hard to get to this point and I don't want anything to set me back. I did make a New Year's resolution to be more relaxed about eating and try my best to enjoy myself more. I don't know how well I have held that up though. I am afraid that it will affect my relationships with other people because I don't really go anywhere or do anything away from home because then I won't know what to eat and when I will be able to eat. How ridiculous is that! Every once in a while the husband and I will go eat and see a movie. I insist that we go to a restaurant that I can look up the nutritional info for and plan what I will eat there. I would just really like to have a more laid back approach to the whole eating healthy thing. I had a <span style="font-weight: bold;">Dark Chocolate Cherry Kashi Bar</span>, <span style="font-weight: bold;">strawberries</span>, and <span style="font-weight: bold;">1/2 tbsp of Better n' Peanut Butter</span>.<br /><br />I ate supper a lot earlier than I usually do because I was home alone and bored. I knew if I didn't eat supper then I would just end up snacking until it was time to eat anyway. This morning when I was done at the gym I went to the store and bought <span style="font-weight: bold;">Quorn chicken c</span><span style="font-weight: bold;">utlets</span> and <span style="font-weight: bold;">La Tortilla Factory Smart & Delicious whole wheat tortillas.</span> So, of course, I had to have it for supper. Anytime I buy something new that I haven't tried before, I must eat it as soon as possible. It is quite ridiculous, but what can I do.........lol. So I had a <span style="font-weight: bold;">chicken cutlet wrap with spinach</span> and a <span style="font-weight: bold;">cup of southwestern style vegetable soup</span>. (Oh and while I had the soup in the microwave and was tending to the chicken, apparently my soup was overflowing. So when I opened the microwave I had a big surprise. Let's just say that today was one of my messier days.) This was quite a delicious and filling supper. For dessert (yay!), I had to try one of my <span style="font-weight: bold;">100 calorie Breyer's Yo Crunch Cheesecake yogurts</span> that I bought recently. It was so good, I felt like I was eating something so bad for me. I chose Biggest Loser Cardio Max. I had done it once before, but this time I added level 2 to my workout. Wow, that is all I can say about it.</p><br /><p><br />For supper I had <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">1/4 cup of Eggbeaters</span> (I planned on having a half a cup, which is equivalent to 2 eggs, but I didn't have enough left), <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">baby spinach</span>, and <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">part of a Laughing Cow Light</span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold"> Swiss Cheese Wedge</span>. To make up for the egg that I didn't have I had <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">half a sandwich thin</span> which I spread part of the <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">cheese wedge</span> on. I also had <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">1 cup of Green Giant Vegetables</span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold"> with Cheese Sauce</span> (I melted the rest of my cheese wedge on top of that so that it would be extra cheesy). My supper was quite delicious and quite filling. For dessert, I tried something new that I bought at the grocery store last night. It was <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Breyer's Yo Crunch 100 Calorie cup in Strawberry and Granola flavor</span>. I have tried to eat yogurt in the past, but could never get over the consistency. Well, this was delicious. I know it is not the healthiest yogurt out there but if that is what it is gonna take for me to eat yogurt then so be it. I definitely recommend this. They also have the vanilla flavors with either Chips Ahoy or Nestle Crunch. This is what is pictured above: Fiber One Cinnamon Raisin Bagels (I ordered the bread but they sent the bagels, I called in to let them know their error and they will send the bread ASAP), 2 packs of Whole Wheat Arnold's Sandwich Thins, and 2 packs of Multigrain Sandwich Thins. I ordered 2 of each because my mom wants to try them. I have actually already tried the multigrain ones but was interested in trying the wheat. I love the multigrain so I am sure I will like the wheat. These are not sold anywhere around me so I have no choice but to order them online. Oh, and about the Fiber One Bread, it is so delicious. You get 2 slices for 140 Calories, 2.5g Fat, and 7g Fiber. When I realized they sent me the bagels I was crushed because their nutritional info goes like this: for 1 bagel - 270 Calories, 3g Fat, 10g Fiber. That isn't that bad, but more than I would like to use on one bagel, though they are pretty big. I had <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Kashi Hearty Go Lean Honey and Cinnamon oatmeal</span> with a <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">blue bran VitaTop</span>. I had tried the oatmeal once before and hated it, but because I hate to waste I told myself that I was just going to have to make it through the rest of the box. To my surprise it was better this morning than last time I tried it. Still not great but I am working on it. I had never tried the blue bran VitaTop but knew that I would like it so I wasn't really worried. I have tried all the chocolate flavors so now I am working my way through the bran flavors. Well, that is all for now, have to head down to my parents' house for a couple of hours. (Also, sorry about the quality of the pics, I am taking them with my phone).<br /><br />Apparently I am quite forgetful during the weekends. I was always halfway through my meal by the time I realized that I didn't take a picture. So, for now, I will at least try and stick to it during the week. Most days it is a struggle, but I am still at it after two years now. I heard that it is helpful to keep a food journal, so this is my go at it.
